| Mary Miller | We purchased one of their carports last summer for our RV. A few months later the building dept informed us we had to have a permit for the carport which had been installed for about 6 months. We were told to contact American Carports and request a copy of the engineered Certified plans of the structure. We contacted American Carports and was informed it would cost us 475 for the plan, that IF we would have requested a copy at the time of purchase and prior to installation the plans would have been free. THIS IS BULL SH! if you ask me. I am very disappointed that they could not furnish a set of the plans since we had already spent 7,000+ , What happened to treating customers in favorable way? I will NEVER recommended this company, nor will I ever purchase from them again. |
