| DoubleDogDare54 . | Had a small leak pop up in the roof a couple of months ago. As he was local, I called Mike to check it out. He came out, quickly located the source of the leak and fixed it. So far, so good. I was having another issue with the roof that I discussed at length with him. He looked it over, we both agreed there was an issue with the pitch of the roof. He told me before he could come up with a plan on how he'd address the issue he needed to order a satellite photo of the roof, which would be an additional 40 over the charge to fix the leak. I agreed to that, paid him for the repair and the photo he said he needed. He told me he'd come up with a game plan of some sort and either email or snail mail a proposal to me. And off he went. Never heard another word from him, which I thought was rather crummy on his part. As long as I footed the bill for a fancy photo from space, the least I expected was something from him on what he'd want to do to fix the roof. But, nope. He took the forty bucks and disappeared. |
