Dovetail Roofing – Roofing Contractor in Topeka, Kansas

I live in colonial park townhomes in Topeka, Kansas. Dovetail roofing did the roofing job for them. They unfortunately knocked a hole in the roof where it entered into my bedroom closet, my husband and I was left to clean their mess up in our closet which ruined our clothes. They were made aware of the situation by management and we have yet to hear from them which was two weeks ago. In my opinion two weeks has been more than a reasonable amount of time for then to reach out to us.

Left materials scattered across front lawn, I personally picked up over 100 nails and continue to find them. After replacing roof I now have bats due to large gaps being left along the underside of the gutters. Waiting for repairs. Also quoted repairs without mention of needing chimney removed but wouldn't warranty work without additional work being done.

First day I was awakened by people walking on roof, dropping shingles at 6:15 a.m. - without notification. Then after 3 phone calls they failed to show up. Second day they were 30 minutes late and left materials nails scattered across front and back lawn. Employees took a 2 hour lunch / nap in driveway, then worked until after 8:30 p.m. Third day they were over an hour late showing up. When trying to talk to the roofers all I got was "No English". Not once did anyone knock or let me know they were there or were leaving or who they were with, etc. Roof looks nice but the experience was not what was expected!
