Phifer Construction – Roofing Contractor in Gaithersburg, Maryland

I had multiple estimates for a roof replacement. Phifer came in under every estimate and was using better quality materials. Brian called during the install I was at work and kept me updated during the day. By the time I got home from work the roof was complete. The roof looks great and I saved a bunch! I would definitely recommend Phifer again!

I received 5 quotes for our roofing project and Phifer through a recommendation from nextdoor.com crushed the other 4. They also use the top rated shingle Certainteed as opposed to a lower quality to lower the price. It was a one day installation that started on time and their follow up was impeccable. I am very pleased with the entire process.

Do not expect Phifer Construction to stand by their work! Phifer Construction completed some “work” on our home prior to our closing, following our inspection. Shortly after we moved into the home, we found that we had a leak in the roof, related to the issue Phifer was supposed to have fixed. After calling the company several times and speaking with Brian, we were finally able to get one of their employees to come out and take a look at the issue. The employee immediately identified the issue as being directly related to the work they failed to complete properly upon their first visit. I was then told that I would receive a call back from the owners, Mark or Brian, to schedule the work unclear why he could not do the work immediately. After several days, I received no return call. I left a number of voicemails and even had our real estate agent help us with follow-up but neither Mark nor Brian, who appear to be in charge, returned our phone calls and texts. What's the point of their “lifetime warranty” if this business cannot stand behind the quality of their work and is unresponsive? This is a very poor way to run a business and you can bet that I will tell all my neighbors never to trust Phifer Construction.
