| Tanya L | Don't believe the gimmicks - we purchased these windows over 10 years ago with many promises of the windows being warrantied for 50 years - no surprises, no fees, totally transferable, etc. However, after a few years I called to get help because one of the window locks was broken and it was 50 trip fee, but they could send me the part at no cost and I could fix it myself. Ok done. Fast forward a few more years and I call because the 5000 sliding glass door I purchased no longer wants to open and close due to the rollers going bad because the door is so stinking heavy, and now the parts aren't covered and they are 38 each, and if I want someone to come and install them for me it is an additional 65. Nothing in the contract I signed said any parts were not covered, nor did it mention anything about any trip fees. I would expect more since we paid over 20,000 cash for the windows when we purchased them for our home. |
