I spoke with Troy about getting all new guttering and a roof maintenance plan. He was so knowledgeable and honest!! He gave me great peace of mind about my roof and the future! I discussed all my concerns with him and he gave me honest and direct answers!! Now I have no concerns! I highly recommend Troy and A-1 Guarantee Roofing for all your roofing needs!! Frankly, I would not call anyone else!!

I had A1 guarantee roofing do a complete roof replacement. Overall, it was overall a satisfactory installation but the process of getting there was very bad business and procedures. The estimator Troy , showed up and gave an estimate for repair. Once I received the estimate was submitted to me and I explained to Troy that I had other companies scheduled for estimates the following week. At this time he told me that the owner had approved for him to give an additional 10 off for the rest of the month because work was slow and they had rather have their employees working and make less than to be sent home. I told him this would not help me, because it was an insurance claim. He then responded that they would take the 10 off of the final bill. This was never done! At this time I told Troy at the time he proposed 10 off of the final bill that I would contract the job with A1 but I had three concerns. These three concerns were that the vinyl siding would have to be removed from the dormers for the roof to be replaced. He responded to not worry about that, he would take that up with and get it covered by the insurance. The second issue was any structural damage where the roof leaked. And the third was that I told him that I felt that there was some damage around the chimney that needed to be repaired before the roof replacement was started. He stated to me that the roof needed to be replaced first because they would have to remove some of the stone to flash the chimney. So I agreed to let them began the replacement. As the job progresses, I was able to periodically see the work as it was being done. When they got to the chimney, they flashed around it and stopped for the day. It looked like I could see some structural damage to the chimney after the flashing had already been installed. Being the crew was gone for the day, I went up and looked at the chimney, finding extensive damage that was being covered up with out my approval and no notification of the damage. The next day, I had to explain to the job foreman that before the roof could be completed that the damage would have to be repaired before the roof application could be continued. The flashing had to be removed and the chimney reconstructed after much dispute with Troy which did not like being called out to the job because he was suppose to be going to Branson. Then the issue with the siding. When the siding was replaced, it was poorly reinstalled. As in being nailed tightly and j channel floating loose, not being nailed at all. It all had to be completely removed and reinstalled. And was still not done correctly and had broken pieces that got reinstalled. Then after roof was complete, I found exposed nail heads scattered all of the roof below shingles, in open areas where they should not have been, and exposed nails on ends of ridge vent rows that were not caulked, and torn shingles that had been installed. After all of this, I waited to talk to the ownerBrian, to explain all of this to him. He did sit down and listen. But following our sit down conversation I received no other communication from him and he did not make good on the 10 discount that was promised by his estimator. Very poor business and a lack of professionalism. Think twice before using this company. If I would have not done my own inspections, I would have not known any of this until it was too late with additional problems.

My roof was 20 years old and 3 or 4 layers it was a mess. I called A-1 Guarantee Roofing to get an estimate they came out in a timely manner to do the estimate. They as well came out in a timely manner to replace the roof and gutters they cleaned up their mess and were very professional.
