Larry Keller | I have worked for Aspen Contracting for a total of seven years since 2006. I have been in the storm restoration business for more than 16 years and I could work for almost any company out there. I choose to work for Aspen, it is a family owned company and they care about their customers. They have embraced technology and use it in all aspects of their business. They are extremely fair to their employees and that reflects outwards to how their customers are treated. I would encourage anyone needing help with their roofing, siding or gutter repairs to use Aspen Contracting, Inc.. |
Michelle Walker | I have never had such a horrible experience when a severe storm caused major damage. The person who is suppose to supervise and make sure our roof, gutters, and siding was done correctly did the opposite. He would text message so fast we never got to text back so we called him. Everything was done on his time. The workers drank on the job one of the days and disposed of their beer bottles in our trash can. I took pictures and uploaded them to my computer showing the bottles and the jagged varied sizes of vinyl siding left on two sides of the house. I stepped on a piece at night because they were suppose to do their job. I told him I had some pictures I wanted him to see and he said email them in pdf format. We had emailed about scope sheets and scope sheets themselves back and forth no problem until his email sent the pdf with pics back saying my email was blocked. He said I had to find another way. When we finally got him out here he wouldn't let me talk and I finally raised my voice and asked if I could speak. He said I was suppose to tell him these things so he could come out here. I did but he wouldn't. Everything he does and says is you have to accept the work. No I don't. My insurance is paying to make my home whole not Otis okay. He told me after the roofing I was paid up on that portion when I told him I had two checks and I wasn't sure who they belonged to because we had another contractor for windows and he told me we were paid up clear and free. Two days later he starts texting me with oh no you owe me 2,700 plus some odd dollars. He used Aspen wanting their money as a threat. The siding finally starts and here we are less than a month from the year anniversary of the storm and I have to be up early in the am to meet with him after demanding over and over again and telling him no final check until the job is done right. The work has not and still is not done right. The workers were using a wooden headboard to hold the siding up one day and I asked what it was about. I got a no no this will be good when done. It isn't done. He tells me to leave the debri yet I have four dogs and my partner who have and need to go out in our yard and risk them getting hurt? I don't think so. There are nails along the back side of the house now. Long ones with sharp ends.He is disrespectful to me and my partner both women. i will go local if heaven forbid another storm comes along and does damage. The man Aspen has coming out here does not know how to do his job how to treat customers. He doesn't listen to what the customer wants. If i could give the star I want it would be a rewind to the day before I decided to go with Aspen and not make that mistake again. It took a week to put window wraps on when it should and was suppose to be a two day job. One worker knocked on our door the day I found the beer bottles and asked for a jump start he left the lights on after getting back from lunch and it was six pm when he asked. That day the sun was bright and no reason for your lights to be on but the dead battery, all the employees standing by the truck with red blood shot eyes after lunch the messed up siding they did that day beer bottles in the trash siding all over two sides of the house. That is unprofessional and cheating the customer. |
