The owner Chris was quick to take the down payment and said he would be personally handling the job and never showed up once. His workers were sub par and very sloppy with their work. They tried to cut corners ever chance they could to keep cost down. Right from the outset the job went south. Architect drew up plans for 6 footings and he put in 5. Day of inspection Chris does not show up and town inspector fails it. Delays hold further. Once they finally start delivery comes and no one is there to receive it. I end up having to direct traffic and delivery guy ends up dropping concrete all over the place. Next dilemma is once they start laying board on deck they try to leave an unfinished edge as the finished product. Stairs were installed unlevel and were never corrected. When they cut the opening for the sliding door they cut the wrong size and then had to redo. They ruined the inside of my walls by my kitchen and cracked tile by door. If I didn't point it out they would have never corrected it. They left debris and metal scraps all over my backyard and did not clean it up after I repeatedly told them. Tools were stored improperly in my garage and end result was my daughter got 10 stitches in her leg. Never never ever ever use this contractor. The absolute worst experience I've ever had from a contractor.
