Dayton did great work fixing the leak in my roof that was due to rotting and rusting in and around my chimney. Shane Dayton was very helpful in the whole quoting process, as well, patiently answering all of my questions and explaining in detail the cause of the issue and recommendations to fix it. The team did efficient and thorough work that looks great and gives me confidence it will last for years to come.

I worked with Shane Dayton, owner of Dayton Contracting Roofing and Renovation at the beginning of May 2018. From the beginning, Shane was responsive to initial inquiry for estimate. He responded within the hour, on the weekend, and promptly scheduled a time to come out and review the damage. Upon reviewing damage, Shane spent ample time on site reviewing damage and answering questions and quickly wrote up estimate. The timeline to finish repairs and breakdown of each part of job were spot on. Shane's team finished the repair in a two day time span. The team who came out were professional, friendly and answered questions as they came up, as well. The cleaned up at the end of each day and upon completion, did a triple check for any nails that may have been left. I was satisfied with the work that was done and the final product looks finished well. I would highly recommend Dayton Contracting to anyone who needs this type of repair. Repair included adding a roofing system to patio, exterior rebuild of top and bottom of chimney and small siding repair. Photos included show before, during and almost completed work. Even with a special order for our Chimney Cap, the job was completed at the end of two days. Overall excellent work and price quote for repair.

This company is the best!! They took out my old masonry chimney that was about to fall down and replaced it with a new hardy plank chimney. They did a beautiful job at a very reasonable price. Shane was so responsive and patient, answering all our questions. I had a second independent roofer inspect the chimney before making the final payment and he said "hands down, it's the best work I've ever seen" and he asked me for Shane's contact info. Thank you to Shane and his crew for a job well done with amazing customer service, which is a rare combination these days!
