Hometown Building Center – Roofing Contractor in Springtown, Texas

I'ts hard to review this place, because it's never open when I need something. I went there this Saturday afternoon... despite it being their normal business hours, they were closed. Apparently they aren't open at all on Sunday, so I tried to stop by Monday on the way home from work and, you guessed it... closed. Retail hardware and lumber... closed any time people aren't at work. I don't think they like money.

Quick and efficient staff, and pleasantly surprising selection available. They carry what you actually need, and I feel has a better selection than the big places like Home Depot. Wish I had a place like this where I live in Fort Worth.

My sons family recently moved here from Hawaii The purchased a home out in the new edition. Unfortunately My son has been deployed for a minimum of 6 months. Which means my daughter in law and my 2 year old grandbaby are alone a lot of the times. She's trying to work on her new home which requires lots of trips to the hardware store. When we stopped in at the local one today, it was the poorest customer service, we were treated terrible. After letting us know right quick that they couldn't help us, we we all but pushed out the door. Mind u. We asked for 2 pieces of ply wood to be cut 14x25. When my kids were looking for a home to buy I assured them springtown is a great place to raise a family. I just hope tges two ladies are just a small portion of the bad part of springtown!
