| Zack Stockdale | Bought a house and the seller as condition of the sale we all split the cost of replacing the roof. Seller choose Tempest to do the job. After work was done condensation started to appear on our ceiling. Called Tim back and he had no idea. Tried to change some of it but then stopped trying to fix the issue. Part of the problem was a huge lack of paperwork on what he was actual contracted to do. Had other roofers and insulation people in and all said that the ridge vent that was put in wasn't done right and wasn't sufficient for the ventilation needs. We are still trying to get it done right and now due to the poor ventilation we had a huge mold out break and have to get that done. For sure part of this was our fault in not following up on somethings earlier but as 1st time home buyers we just didn't expect to have to follow up like this. Assumed someone who did a job that wasn't done right would fix it when asked. Learning experience. Would recommend going with a more proven track record/guarantee and if you do go with them get EVERYTHING in clear unambiguous writing. |
