The Byers employees were easy to deal with and very upbeat. The leafguard gutters appear to work exactly the way they should. I would recommend them highly, except for the difference between what the salesman agreed to install and what the installer said could and couldn't be done. I haven't made up my mind about the metallic edges that are about a foot off the ground, but otherwise my experience was excellent.

Kent from Byers was very knowledgeable and informative about the Solatube whole house fan product during our consultation. When he came to install, he did it quickly one hour, WOW he's good and made sure to cover around the area to keep our house clean. I had done my research, so already knew Solatube was a highly rated product and what size we needed. Another company said they could only install their brand in the back bedroom which would require the door to be open or over the front entryway not what I want people to look at when they enter. If you look at the photos, you can see we have a lot going on in our hallway, but that's where we thought it would be most effective and not so noticeable. Kent put the intake in the hallway between the AC intake and a light. It's been quiet just a low hum and cooled the house nicely at night. As a result, the AC hasn't started running until late afternoon even when the temperature in Sacramento, CA is hitting the high 90s-low 100s. We're very happy with Byers' service and the Solatube product. Recommend you give them a try.

Andy and Kent walked me trough everything at least once or twice if I did not understand what they were doing. Great guys to work with. Clean work areas and very professional at work. Highly recommend them for any of your installs. Be glad you have such caring guys about your product.
