Working with Tony Ostblom, owner of A. J. Shirk Roofing in Loveland, was a pleasure from beginning to end. He had been recommended to us by a local supply house as the person in our area who knew the most about attic ventilation, and since inadequate ventilation is one of the first things shingle companies use to disqualify a claim, we were happy to talk with him. He turned out to be a very pleasant and knowledgeable professional, and we hired him immediately. His price was tailored to what we wanted and was fair. He was on the job every day, kept in contact regularly, returned all calls asap, and sent pictures from his phone throughout the process so we had a bird's eye view of what was happening on our roof at every stage in the process. Before the project had been completed we began receiving calls from neighbors saying what a good job he was doing and how nice the roof looked. The job was completed promptly and professionally, and clean up was good. We were so pleased that we hired him immediately afterward to bring the insulation in the attic to R-60. I am writing this review now that the summer heat is upon us and I do not exaggerate when I say that the difference in comfort in our home after having a new roof installed to meet the highest current standards for attic ventilation and insulation is like night-and-day. I cannot recommend A. J. Shirk Roofing highly enough. Tony Ostblom is not just a first rate professional who delivers a first rate job - he is also a first rate human being.
