I was initially excited to work with Richard and Solid Construction, when his bid came in significantly lower than any other contractors. Communication was a bit challenging, and I was frustrated when I asked for a call before he came only to wake up early one morning to learn he was already up on the roof. But it was so cheap! Unfortunately, it was wasted money. Richard's work did not make any difference in my roof's leak. When I asked him what he would do about it he said he had done more than we had agreed on already, and then criticized his own tactics and tried to imply they were my fault. Needless to say it did not end well between us. I cannot support a contractor who will not stand by their own advice and techniques.
