Marlin Construction Group, LLC – Roofing Contractor in Fort Myers, Florida

This is what Marlin Construction considers a finished project. We patiently asked for four months for the roof to be finished and were told to “f” off and other expletives by Russel an employee of theirs. Unfortunately, David the owner supported Russel's unprofessional and unjust behavior and would not contact us when we asked him for help in the matter. David instead chose to file an “intent to lien” on our home when over 22,900 was already paid and only 1,600 final payment was due. We complied and had to hire and pay another company to finish the roof. For the protection of you and other families in our community I implore you to choose a different local roofer as Marlin Construction's actions show that they do not care about the integrity of their own company, treatment of it's customers, nor our local community.

After a recent storm I noticed the shingles on our roof were pulled up from the wind. Both my wife and I have Parkinson's Disease and Kris was on the spot with an assessment first thing the next morning that was conducive to our needs and situation. He assured us that he would work with our insurance company and get the job done on time. True to his word, he and Marlin came through with flying colors. TJ followed up to insure the quality and satisfaction of the work. This exemplary service and attention to detail by these two and the staff of Marlin was professional, attentive to our needs and worthy of our praise. I highly recommend Marlin to anyone in need of roof replacement or repairs.

I cannot believe all the negative reviews about this roofing company. I've had several roofs replaced over my lifetime and this is the only company that I didn't have to call back to fix something that should have been done when putting on my roof. I always personally inspect work done as I have a working knowledge of construction. They came out with six employees, tore off the old roof and had the bad plywood replaced and the water barrier on in one day. After passing the first inspection they then came out with nine roofers and had my roof done in one day. This was all done in one week! I asked the city inspector how it looked and he said “this company knows what they are doing, they complete around four roofs a day”. I had a roof done after Irma by a different roofing company and had them come out twice to fix what they had done wrong. This is the absolute best roofing company in this area, hands down.
