I got a bid on a small roof repair from Richard. I have used his company before and was satisfied and since I had an active leak and was going out of town I did not get other bids. My mistake and Richard told me as much after our conversation when the repair was done. He sent someone out right away and then called me later that evening with a price of 1200.00. I thought it was a little high but agreed to the repair since time was not on my side. His guy showed up, did the repair and was done in less than two hours and said it was less than 2' square and a very easy fix. Richard lead me to believe that it was more like a 4x8 area and several nail holes and sealing around a couple of vents. They repaired all they said they would and I paid the price as agreed. So why the review? I understand that a roofer never knows what they might possibly run into so they cover themselves on the estimate. I also know that if the repair had been larger than expected he would have called and wanted more. I called Richard and thought he might be willing to adjust the high price considering it took much less than he lead me to believe was needed. Richard said his guy was highly qualified and worked faster than most and earned a high rate of pay. I figured that at 1200.00 divided by 2 he must earn about 600.00 an hour. Sorry Richard, Your guy does good work but not that good. I've never written a bad review before and only one good one so this isn't sour grapes. Just telling everyone - Do your homework, get three estimates and beware of Andy the Roofer.

Pleasant person to communicate with, as the whole staff is also and very hard workers. The estimate was good and no frills or lies when job was completed. They have been in business a number of years. Everything Richard said they would complete was finished to a tee, and cleanup was perfect. It was a pleasure to do business with someone who knows what they are doing and stays with getting it done. We met his wife, Amanda, when we paid. She was helping out so Richard could finish his other jobs. Amanda was a sweetheart and a nice addition to his company. Thank you for making our roof great again. We feel safe and secure.
