Greg Gaines | I don't know that anyone would describe having their septic tank pumped as "wonderful" but this company makes the word seem appropriate. My wife and I bought a house about 1.5 years ago. Several weeks ago we noted a foul smell in the yard. Eventually we assumed it was the septic tank. I checked the flow pipe outside and could see that it was backing up. I searched septic companies in the local area. As this company had several five star reviews, I gave them a call. I spoke with a gentleman, Josh, over the phone on a Friday afternoon. He was ready to have someone come out that day or on Saturday if I felt it necessary which I very much appreciated. As there was no back flow in the house I felt we could make it until Monday. We discussed the size of my home and he estimated our tank to be 1500 gallons and quoted me at a price of 425. To be honest, I had no idea what the size of the tank was. Two gentlemen arrived at our house on time Monday morning. They quickly found and dug up the tank and began pumping it. They were very friendly and answered all of my questions. They did tell me this was one of the worst tanks they had seen and didn't think it had ever been pumped. After they were finished they looked at the tank and told me they did not think it was 1500 gallons but 1000 gallons. They measured it and confirmed it was a 1000 gallon tank. They changed the price from 425 to 350. This is the reason I so highly recommend this company. I would not have known the tank was smaller than they guessed and would have happily paid the initial price. Their honesty and integrity saved me 75, which isn't a lot but is a mark of the kind of business they run. They could have said nothing and I would have never known but they chose to have integrity. If you live in the area I give my highest recommendation that you choose Roy Sellers. Their work is great and their ethics are even better. |
