| David Nunn | In the past, whenever I would buy a OEM car key, Ace Hardware would cut it for me at no charge. I would have gladly paid a fee for the service. Yesterday, I bought a set of keys I didn't need from Ace as a courtesy for cutting some OEM keys, and then they refused to cut they keys I brought. The VAT keys they sell are substandard and it's important for me to keep my classis Firebird original OEM. I made it clear to the manager on duty that I would never do business with them again. I have been shopping at Ace Hardware since the early 90s, but no more! I went to Hammond-Jones hardware and they gladly cut the keys for me. As a courtesy for doing so, I bought several items from them. Hammond Jones is my new local hardware store. |
