Daniel’s Home Improvements – Roofing Contractor in Vienna, Georgia

If there were a zero star rating, that is what I would rate Daniel's Home Improvements. My husband and I hired Daniel Starnes to build a wood carport with a shingled roof at our home. At the first rain a week or so after construction, the carport began to leak from the roof. We contacted Daniel immediately, he came out and did a patch job of some kind that did not address the issue at all and when it rained the very next time, the carport leaked. Over the next several weeks as the rain continued, the condition of the carport roof continued to deteriorate and become more damaged. On August 9th, Daniel said that he would be at our house on the following Monday to "dry the roof in" and discuss a "permanent fix". He never showed. We have called, texts, emailed, Facebook messengered...and nothing! We have sent pictures and videos of the rain pouring down through the carport roof onto the cars the carport was built to protect. It has been weeks and we have seen no signs of him and the condition of our carport worsens with every rain. He did a poor job and has essentially TAKEN over four thousand dollars of our hard earned money and run off, with zero accountability for his work and clearly no desire to have a reputation as a skilled and honest contractor in our small town. I would not recommend Daniel's Home Improvements to anyone.
