| Abual stanley | The work that they complete is well done, the face to face that you get is both professional and friendly, but the pricing for some tasks are a little crazy. I have a 1x6 decked roof and had a few bad spots. They fixed it by cutting down a 1x6 and cutting out the spot on the roof to have the new boards to fit this took a literally five mins or less since the crew was very quick at working. The charge that I received was about 150 after paying for the material and 137 fee to replace the boards, feels steep. The contract that I signed did not have a price for 1x decking repairs and only have a price of 75 plywood repairs. Then after the job was done the guys loaded 3-4 bundles of shingles in their trucks. I asked the on site supervisor who was very professional and friendly if I am to get a credit back from all the bundles? Which I guess would get returned, His best answer which was,"honestly i do not think so, we buy extra just in case we run into a problem with a few shingles.". How much extra is there on a roofing project? Regardless I am happy with my new roof, my yard is clean and nothing was damaged. i did go and buy a magnet for myself and did find a few nails but i am not holding this against them. Would I use A&O again? Short answer, Yes Although I wish that sometimes they wouldn't nickel and dime you on everything. |
