Beverly Kellams | My 18 year-old furnace wore out and needed replaced. While the contractor I hired to replace it was working in the utility room, two things happened. My 9 year-old water heater quit working and the new furnace they installed was larger than the old and blocked my water heater from ever being removed when it needed replacement. I called L.E. Isley & Sons, the plumbing company I have used for several years, and they sent Scott Lockwood to analyze my water heater problem. Scott found the problem and explained why the best solution required that the water heater be replaced. Seeing that a replacement could not be put in the utility room, Scott designed and quoted a plan to relocate it to the garage. He made a temporary fix to my old water heater so that we could have hot water until a new one could be installed and promised to clear a spot in his work schedule to install a new one in the garage as soon as possible. He did this all in one visit. While I considered his proposal, he evaluated his work schedule. He found that his next job was routine maintenance and could be postponed. And, I found his proposal to be reasonable, so we scheduled the job to be the next business day after the weekend. Bottom line is I was very impressed with how well L.E. Isley & Sons take care of their customer's needs. |
