Menards – Roofing Contractor in Wichita, Kansas

Hands down the worst Menards I've ever come across. Employees are extremely unhelpful, have an attitude as well. We've been loyal customers for many years, but this place is insured we will never return. LOWE'S has better deals and better pricing better customer service. LOWE'S also does not have ridiculous policies that force us to leave our children's medical issues in the vehicle unattended since we do not have access to babysitter currently.

The store has a large and varied inventory. The staff was friendly, but a bit scarce in the garden Dept, probably because we were there late in the day. I would have given 5 stars if they had a mandatory face mask policy, it was a bit uncomfortable with the large number of deniers who didn't care about social distancing.

I like going to this Menards. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of things available beyond the appliances, tools and home improvement Items that you would expect. You can pick up candy and/or a toy for your grandsons birthday, the milk your wife asked you to bring home, a new grill and the boards to fix the backyard fence all in one place. The prices are pretty good too, often even cheaper than Wally World. Everything a man or women could need.

Too bad one experience is all it takes before I stop going there. Recently purchased a 550 vanity and it needed to be ordered since they didn't stock it had a floor model for it. After realizing it didn't meet the ADA requirements my wife called to cancel it. They said they could do it but it would take a manager to do it the next day. Well apparently the manager didn't cancel it in time and didn't tell us about it. We went in person to make sure it went through and they said it didn't and we would have to pay a restocking fee of 25, so 138 restock fee. I talked to the plumbing manager and some other manager, all they said was they were sorry. Asked me if I could use it for something else. If they want to charge that much, they need to make sure when ordering they tell the person it's that big of a fee. It's in fine print on the receipt. They've lost a very loyal customer.

Staff very helpful and curtious. Store very clean. Store is huge inside and it keeps going and going and going. You can spend the days and just looking around.

I was favorably impressed with the employees! And I was able to get what I needed!! They have a nice helpful app for the mobile devices!
