| NavyLady Vlogs | This was the second company that I contacted to receive a quote for vinyl siding repair. The first company came out with no issues. When the person came out, his name was Alan, my husband showed him the pieces of vinyl siding that needed to be repaired. At that time Alan proceeded to tell my husband that he preferred to do the whole side instead of just the pieces that needed to be repaired. I was completely baffled by this because WE are the the homeowners and they are the contractors. Since when is it okay for the contractors who are hired by the homeowners to tell the homeowners what they prefer to do to their homes??? So I reached out to Alan myself to see what the issue was about the work that we requested and Alan proceeded to tell me that doing only the pieces that we wanted would cost less so he preferred to do the entire side because he would make more money. When I told my husband what he said, my husband said that it made sense because apparently Alan pulled up to my home in a brand new Tesla so clearly he thinks that I'm supposed to be the one making the payments for his Tesla. These people are clearly only in it for the money and make jobs bigger than they have to be in order to garner them more profit instead of just helping homeowners in need and getting paid for what's ACTUALLY NEEDED or requested vice what HE PREFERS to do....smh. We are in the middle of a pandemic and this company has no idea what our financial situation is so to try to scam us and make the job bigger than it needs to be is completely unethical!! |
