Melissa Hruska | Horrible service. While the lady on the phone Wife/Owner seemed very customer friendly, nice, and genuine, her husband owner was anything but. The guy showed up at our cabin to pump our tank and was upset at where I had parked. We have had some problems with people trespassing and causing problems so being there by myself with a three year old I was not about to park my car up on the road, but he didn't care, and there are limited places to park due to the rain and soft ground. I came out of the cabin and immediately asked him if he wanted me to move my car, he was clearly mad at where I had parked and treated me like garbage the entire encounter. He waived at the spot I was parked and said something to the effect of yeah, your in my way, but he had blocked me in and he wasn't about to move his truck for me. I asked if he was going to pump our outhouse too which we had requested and he got even more upset claiming that he couldn't get his truck near it even though he has emptied it before. Then he said he would have to use two hoses I assume that is why he carries them on his truck?? which he clearly was mad about too. So then he tried to convince me that my car was sinking it was in front of the outhouse, where he would have to drive to pump it, it wasn't and he couldn't show me a spot where it was. Then he got mad and yelled that it was my fault if he did sink and that I was going to pay to get him out if it did. It was if he was trying to exhaust every excuse in the book not to have to do the job he was out there to do. So I moved my car directly to the side of where it was in a triangular area, hoping it wouldn't sink there, while I moved my car, he backed his truck up as fast as it would go almost hitting the front corner of my car. When I brought up the way he was acting toward me he tried to blame me and told me that I didn't have common sense because I parked where he would need to drive. As I mentioned earlier, I wasn't about to be up there alone and parked way up on the road due to the situation, and me knowing where the ground actually is soft, there was no where else to park. It would have taken two seconds for him to ask me to move my car when he arrived. In addition he complained that our driveway entrance was too small, if he had driven in the area we blocked off he would have sunken into the mud. He also was mad at me because he had to rearrange his day to come out, even though I had scheduled a few weeks earlier. He showed up with a partially filled tank and so ended up having to leave in the middle of pumping and come back 1.5 hours later I had to wait since I had to lock up after he left. He complained that the tanks were overflowing due to rainwater as if that was my fault and then tried to claim that our tank under our outhouse which was recently moved about 3-5 feet over due to a crack in the prior tank was now the same size as our cabin holding tank it is far from it, but makes it so he can charge more. This guy seems to think that just because he has customers that it is proof that he treats his clients well. The truth is it is the country and it isn't easy to find any company to come out. In addition his wife oddly seemed to be encouraging me to have them come out when we weren't there and said most people do that. It is almost as if they are trying to avoid him having contact with clients. |
