DHI Roofing – Roofing Contractor in Independence, Missouri

Julius Wells and DHI Roofing were absolutely amazing to work with! Julius knocked on my door and offered to assess my roof post a series of storms in the area. From the first knock on the door Julius was kind, cognizant of my time, informative, and communicated extremely well. He took care of handling insurance 'stuff' and explained what I did not understand which was most of it!. My home was built in 1958 and has exposed rafter tails. This is a really awesome architectural feature, but a royal pain in the you know what for roofing and gutters! During the process of taking off the old gutters, the eave of the house was damaged. That damage was compounded by the initial gutter sub-contractor. The eave is made up of 5/8" x 6" tongue and groove boards laid on top of those exposed rafter tails. It was really important for aesthetics and for weather protection that this be repaired. Julius got a crew of people together to figure out a solution. He had the Assistant GM of DHI, Shiloh Hoggard, the roofing crew, and a new gutter sub-contractor to the house. Together this group reviewed the damage to the eaves and the structure of the house. They came up with a plan to get the damage repaired. Understand that they had ALREADY put on a new rood and new gutters!!! To fix this damage ALL of the NEW gutters came down, along with the first 12 inches or so of NEW roofing materials all the way down to those rafter tails! Y'all....this is HUGE! The level of effort that Julius, Shiloh, and DHI went to get this job done correctly has completely exceeded my expectations...it's over the top! The roof and gutters look fantastic! Some contractors would be difficult to get in touch with if there was an issue or damage to property. Not with Julius and DHI...if I called or sent a text, he replied immediately. He contacted me regularly just to let me know that he hadn't forgotten me and what he was working on. I simply cannot say enough fabulous things about this group! I will recommend them over and over and over again!

Remarkable experience with DHI Roofing! After Tim Fleenor managed our large roof, siding, and gutter project I have recommended him to several personal contacts of mine who have also been very pleased with the process and work done on their homes. Having 10+ years of construction experience myself, I am not the easiest to satisfy. We had a great experience with DHI Roofing through the entire process. They were excellent with working with us and our insurance. Very responsive with communication. The roofing crew did an excellent job with tear off removal and putting on new roof, cleaned up all debris and the entire process took 1.5 days! They were awesome! Will use them in future and recommend to anyone!
