Midtown Home Improvements – Roofing Contractor in Lee’s Summit, Missouri

Had this company put a deck in for us. We are happy with the product, but beware, they use the hard sales pitch and tell you that if you do not agree right then, the price jumps a lot. When in reality they are probably overpriced from the start. Regardless, we agreed because we liked what we saw of the product being sold. The process and more importantly the communication that we received was awful. They told us that we were on schedule in June last summer, that did not happen. I get that they were behind with weather, but simple communication and updates would have been nice. We always had to contact them and the project foreman hardly ever returned a call and no one at the main office was helpful at all. The sub-contractors which we were told that they only use their own people, which was a lie, were hard workers and seemed to know what they were doing, however they did have to come out and fix the under-decking because it was holding water and making the under-deck was sagging. A year later, it is still not perfect but better than the initial completion. Just frustrating that for what we paid, this is not the highest quality it could be. I wish we would have done a little more research on this company before we agreed to use them. I have seen several similar complaints, especially when it comes to communication. I even reached out and asked to talk to the top person with the company here in KC area and never got a call back. Lesson learned.
