Crawford Construction – Roofing Contractor in Poplar Bluff, Missouri

I hired Bill Crawford from Crawford Construction to build a dog kennel. Bill Crawford the owner did not follow the work that we agreed upon. This was a bid job versus a time and material job. To start with Bill did not lay the amount of concrete that we agreed upon. Bill continually tried to cut corners by trying to install different doors and not wanting to install fixtures and doors that he bid the job for. Bill allowed his crew to show up late and or not at all and this allowed for delay of the agreed upon completion date. The concrete work was specifically an issue. The drain grates are off center of the building and the grates are now located within the kennels. I gave specific directions to keep the grates out of the kennel. The concrete was also honey combed and Bill used the grates to cover this up. The lights that Bill installed were off center of the ceiling by four feet. When I asked Bill about it he looked me in the eye and lied straight to my face and said “there isno way”. I pulled out a tape measure and we taped it. Turns out the lights were four feet off. Bills response was, “ohhh yah”. Bill left my property a complete mess. There is a large pile of dirt from the project in my pasture, a pile of gravel in my drive way, and Bill took fence down on three sides of my building which he left down and did not fix. Long story short is that there are better companies out there and I have more work that needs to be completed. I will not use this company again!
