Alte Roofing – Roofing Contractor in Hackettstown, New Jersey

I was very satisfied with my new roof installed by Jeff Alte's top notch installation team this past summer. My roofing project was difficultremoving a double roof in the scorching July heat. The three member team worked almost nonstop from 8 am to 6 pm the first day and arrived early the next morning to continue just as diligently. All deserve.gold medals. The cleanup was meticulous. Part of the Alte contract includes a follow up inspection of all work and check for nails or any hardware dropped on the property. That was done thoroughly by an outside inspector who arrived with an extension ladder and checked the roof thoroughly and the grounds for hardware. Jeff Alte Roofing provides first rate roofing service. I am a well pleased customer.

The house they re-sided was well done. No issues with that. However, the workers damaged the Freon supply line of a nearby air conditioner. There was a small crack that took a number of days to lose Freon liquid to the point where the unit would only blow hot air. I asked Jeff to pay for the repairs of just under 300. He refused and basically said there was no proof they caused the problem even though the workers used an extension ladder within inches of the unit. I offered to split the repair bill, but they still refused to take any responsibility.

Called to see if I could get an estimate on a new roof since I routinely get their flyers in my mail and the lady asked for my address to look it up on Google maps and then said that they couldn't help me, I asked why?? She just said good luck with your project and hung up on me! Wow! If that isn't totally unprofessional then what is?
