We called Safetrust roofing and asked someone to come out for two reasons: tell us the extent of the damage on our roof, and most importantly tell us how much it would be to fix it. The man was here for two hours with all his fancy gadgets he took video of our roof and attic with a GoPro camera, and had a 26 inch Samsung tablet complete with PowerPoint presentation, trying to tell us about the kitchens and bathrooms they do and overall how great their company and work is compared to their competitors. There was this big long presentation, and at the end he asked us "other than the cost what is keeping you from booking the job with us right here and now?" My family looked at each other and said "the cost is the only thing" we asked him how much and he said he "couldn't tell us or he would get fired". We said we were going to need to talk to another family member before we book anything. He started to pack up his things and would not give us an estimate or ballpark QUOTE: "we don't do ballparks" until we had our family member here. With that one exchange the company went from a modern and thorough experience to sneaky slimy corporate snake. Overall we WERE happy with what he was saying until he refused to tell us how large this big expense would be. He spent two hours going on about how much better they are than their competitors in all these different ways, but apparently this corporate company is not confident enough to be straight up and tell us the cost. We may have even booked with them if they had just told us the price. No one should ever be backed into a corner like this. I hope Safetrust roofing takes this feedback to heart and changes their sales approach because it truly killed the vibe and felt like a huge waste of time to not get the main thing we wanted out of the consultation, which was the price.
