Work was good but hard to speak with unless you email. The one thing that I'm unhappy with and this makes me wish I went with Walker is the lack of communication. I had Terry take down and old chimney, not a big one, and his workers dropped the bricks on my driveway with a blue tarp. I found pieces of the tarp embedded in the asphalt. I would have thought they would have at least put down plywood. I tried calling but again no answer so I emailed his wife and told her of my displeasure. She responded by telling me that he will look at it tomorrow when he comes to finish the job. I never hear from him personally so I emailed again saying that I would like to speak with Terry and she said that I could speak to him through email and by the way, Terry looked at the dents in the driveway and said it was no big deal, and you owe us170.00 more for two sheets of plywood. I was not happy with that but I paid it and also prior to that I asked for a quote on siding. Now you think that if you have a disgruntled customer who was going to give you more work you would take the time to call and see how you could fix a problem your workers caused, not the case. Never heard anything from Terry, big lack of customer service. Walker actually got in touch with me before I chose Hughes and even called me after I made my bad decision. The shame is all of this disdain could have been avoided by a simple phone call, a personal touch with concern over my property instead of "it's no big deal"

It would have been really nice if they called us to cancel rather than just not showing up. It was raining and we planned our day around the appointment. Just goes to show how they would be if we actually gave them the job.
