| Jon Lilley | DO NOT HIRE THIS OVERPRICED COMPANY!! I hired them to install some gutters, which were about 3x than any other gutter job I've paid for, but I needed gutter helmet so I called and hired them. Then they show up to do the job and there was much more work than just a gutter installation. At the initial consultation and "free estimate", there was never a mention that I may need to tear off my old roof or reframe the porch. I then receive a quote to do all of the structural/ roof repairs, then reinstall gutters. Quote was THOUSANDS more than the other quotes I got for the roof and porch repair and gutter replacement so I went with another company. Then they have the nerve to not only keep my original 33 deposit for the gutter job, which was never done, AND THEY INVOICED ME FOR MORE MONEY!! Had I been advised of at least the POTENTIAL for this amount of work, I would not have signed the contract in the first place and would have gotten quotes from roofing companies. So at this point, not they say they're not only keeping my original deposit, but also are billing me for their time for the "work". They advertise "free estimates". This is criminal. The only work they did was take out several large branches of the tree near the driveway with their truck, because they were too lazy to carry the ladder and extra 10 feet. Thanks Gutter People!! |
