| clay mclawhon | DO NOT USE RELIANT ROOFING. They replaced a roof for us at our beach house in December 2016 and it blew off less than two years later due to not replacing the rotten sheathing. They just shingled over the rot and did no repairs. Used the same old rusty water diverter instead of replacing with a new one. I spent half a day picking up nails, tar paper, old and new shingles in yard and on decks. When we pressed the owner about the problem he only wanted to do repairs to the roof after seeing the rot. You cannot repair a roof at the beach once shingles come off due to salt spray blowing under the shingles...only replace the roof. They have a good office staff but the company is NOT trustworthy and the warranty they love to provide is worthless. Don't waste your time or money. The guy who sold us the job is no longer with the company...I wonder WHY? We are trying to get some resolution with this matter currently. We will keep you posted to see if they reimburse us for money we have spent that insurance didn't cover due to the rotten sheathing. |
