| Rob Fader | I was skeptical at first since this company approached me in my driveway one Saturday for a free quote on a roof. I set up an appointment and figured it couldn't hurt. The company went above and beyond my expectations. We picked out what we wanted and they called me a few days later with an installation date. The original date got rescheduled due to weather not unexpected. When they showed up for the installation, they arrived a little later than I was told. I was told from the home office in VA that they would be there between 7-9am and would be done in a day. They showed up around 10:30am and said they'd be starting at 11. The installation lasted that day and the next till about 2pm, so about 1-1/2 days. I wasn't home, so the time frame didn't matter to me, plus they were coming from about 40 miles away. I came home early on the first day and met the supervisor, Josh. Very nice guy. He kept me informed on what was being done and how much rotted decking needed to be replaced, which they took care of. They moved all the patio furniture and anything else on the ground that could be damaged away from the house before they started and cleaned up around the entire house at the end of the first day. The second day went well. I left Josh a note on the front door since I didn't have his number about some nails that appeared to be sticking out behind the gutter and in front of the fascia board. Around 2pm Josh called me to let me know they were done, he got my note and was taking care of it now. When I got home, they had put all the patio furniture back and cleaned up around the entire house again. I've heard horror stories of roofing companies leaving a mess when finished. This was not the case. They did an excellent job on the install and the cleanup. I've found a few nails here and there but that's to be expected. The new roof looks great, and the entire process was a lot better than I was anticipating. HCR surpassed my expectations. |
