Great Roofing & Restoration – Roofing Contractor in Centerville, Ohio

I am pleased with the work that was done... However, I am very displeased with the cost that was negotiated before hand compared to what I was charged after the work was performed. During the hailstorm that hit our area in May of 2011 many contractors were in the area offering to repair the many roofs that were damaged. I was able to make an insurance claim and was looking for a company that could do the work for the amount of my claim minus the deductible. One of their representatives came to my home, examined the damage, and told me that they could do the work for exactly that. As work was being performed and costs were being discussed, I asked the representative twice if the costs would come out as we initially discussed. He assured me that it would. Upon receiving the final invoice which was for exactly the full amount of my insurance claim NOT minus the deductible, the representative said that he didn't remember our discussions but would talk to the owner. The owner contacted me and made no effort to honor what i was told by his employee. I had to pay the 3000+ deductible out of pocket. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. My lesson learned is that I should have at least got something in writing in the form of a quote or spoken to someone higher up in business before agreeing to have them perform the repairs. I felt lied to and there was noting I could do about it, hence my 3 three star rating...
