Ben is a nice guy, and his price was a lot lower than the other quotes we got. If you only care about price, you might want to consider him. If, on the other hand, you care about punctuality, responsiveness, and permitting, look elsewhere. Ben didn't pull a permit for the work he did for me replace circuit breaker panel, and he told me he didn't need one. Nor was the work inspected. When I went to get some electrical work done, the contractor told me that it should have been permitted and inspected. When I called Kenton County, they told me that he should have pulled a permit and had the work inspected. I have been trying for a week to get Ben to call me back to discuss this, and he will not return my calls. Also, when he was here working on the project, he told me that it would only take a day. It probably would have, but he left in the middle of the day to get supplies for several hours. Then he said he would finish it the next day, but he didn't show up the next day. He did return two days later, but still didn't finish that day, and had to return again the following day to label the circuits. As I said, the price was low, but since I need to hire another electrician to get the permit taken care of, the savings will be offset. As they say: you get what you pay for.
