Everything about these guys reads “sleaze.” High pressure all the way, beginning with a sales pitch that would make a used car salesman blush. The initial price they quote is three times what reputable local roofers quote, but if you bite, they're ready to sign you up. If you choke, the price comes down, way down. Then comes the “I'll call my manager to see if I can get you a special deal” ploy also good for moving that 2014 Honda. Then there's the “overstock” ploy - there's an “overstock” that allows you to realize a reduced price, but you must act now - can't guarantee the price even for 24 hours! Finally, there's the super “must sign now” ploy - sign now or the price will “revert” to the “regular price” tomorrow, which is thousands of dollars higher. Does this sound like the practice of a firm with integrity? And their “recommendations” here on this site are likely bogus: Virtually all of them read more or less as follows: “Joe came to our house. He was a fine young man and very professional! I would highly recommend this firm.” And then they rate them five stars. Are you kidding! Who would rate a roofing firm based on anything except the work that was actually performed on the premises! And then there are ridiculous representations such as, “If one shingle falls off one of our roofs, we will replace the entire roof,” which you can be sure is not in any contract you will sign. About the contract - they claim that they cannot/will not provide a hard copy for you to review on your time prior to hiring them; you are asked to sign now on the electronic dotted line. And it gets worse, much worse: When the salesman came off our roof, he showed us pictures, a couple of which supposedly showed damage. They appeared strange in color and contrast, but it didn't occur to us that he would have the audacity to show fake pictures. Next day we had a highly reputable local roofer, recommended by a top brokerage firm in town, examine our roof. The verdict: Our roof was approaching the end of its useful life, but there were “no immediate problems” that we needed to address. The problems identified by the salesman “Every time it rains water is pouring into your house” did not exist. And then they bombard you with marketing calls. I wouldn't trust a word they say and would have nothing to do with this firm.
