| Frolan J | These guys are lazy! I originally placed a call to the plumbers to fix some worn out straight valves under my kitchen sink that are welded on. I told the receptionist my problem and she was very kind and told me that someone would pass by tomorrow to take care of it. To start, what I had originally thought was a one-man job only one person can fit under a kitchen sink required two workers. They entered and took a look at the job before quickly telling me that they did not have the correct valve in their truck, even though I had provided all the necessary information on the phone previously. This was not all. After telling me they did not have the straight valve, they also said that they would not be able to fix my problem at all since there was “not enough room to weld” under the sink, which seems a bit improbable since that is where it was originally welded. What they offered to do however was install a new faucet that I had purchased, without fixing the issue I had called about. Seventy five dollars just for them to show up, which they did unprepared, AND an hourly rate for TWO people all just to install a kitchen faucet which I could've done myself. In total, I paid 250 for a job that never got done. It seemed like rather than showing up to do the job, they showed up, decided they did not want to work that hard, and took the easy way out. The only reason I agreed with this is because my wife works in a Covid-19 testing center and it is necessary for her to wash her clothes and herself once she arrives. I was expecting a bit more professionalism after all of the good things I had heard about Kowalski in my community. |
