We have a 130 year old slate roof where there were small leaks finally where the gables meet. We had 3 contractors provide estimates. All professional quotes, but the other 2 suggested replacing the entire roof. Matt and Charlie's quote was fix the side that needed repair. This included remove/replace 2 badly worn tin valley runs, surrounding slates, snow guards and aluminum gutters that were incorrectly installed from a prior roofer they drilled into the slate and replaced with copper. They also swapped out 25 damaged slates. All at a reasonable price. The communication was also great in letting us know when they would be working on the roof, as the job required 2 plus days of dry weather. The clean-up also went well. If you need to have a slate roof repaired, I have no hesitation recommending getting a quote from Charlie Parsons Custom Sheet Metal. |
