FLOODED MY BEDROOM AND DIDNT PAY FOR DAMAGES! Let me tell y'all about my experience with this company. We had our roof replaced by this company and have had more leaks now than we ever had before! Initially a crew was sent to remove the old roof which they did and began to install the new shingles. Then they disappeared! Never told me they were leaving or when they were coming back. After a couple of days, I called the man who had given me the bid to see what the issue was. He informed me the crew had gotten pulled to go do a bigger more job. After much aggravation, a crew showed up to finish my roof. That's when the problems started. The next five times it rained, I had leaks! Each time the repairman assured me I had a good roof, but each time it rained I had a leak. I asked to SPEAK TO THE OWNER, but never heard from him. I informed United I did NOT WANT THE SAME REPAIRMAN on my property again, but each time they sent the same man! The worst leak that developed was a result of UNITEDs crew shingling over rotten wood without informing me a repair needed to be made. This resulted in me waking up one morning to HALF MY BEDROOM BEING FLOODED! The repairmain brought fans, and made an attempt at drying carpet, but ruined furniture and property was not replaced. They did repair the roof as warranty, but that's it. I informed United this is not the roof I paid for and was very disappointed. To this day, I regret using them. They never repaired the Sheetrock on the ceiling that got wet nor replaced the wet insulation in the roof. So, if you're looking for a roof, research good companies. Make sure they are willing to pay for damages, do quality work, and offer a good warranty. My roof is about three years old. I have waited this long to rate this company, just to give them a bit of grace. Guess what? Another new leak formed the other day. I'm not even going to bother with calling united again. Hope this review helps those who are honestly looking for a good roofing contractor. Form your own opinion.
