V L Garza Roofing & Remodeling – Roofing Contractor in Dallas, Texas

I hired this company to build a patio cover for my home. The contractor who came to my home by the name of Jose Garza represented this company Garza Roofing and Remodeling. He told me the project would begin exactly a week after I gave him 1750 for him to buy materials for the project. I agreed and gave him the money. His only request was that the check I made out to him be in the name of David Rodriguez the person for whom he would buy the materials for the project from. I was excited to finally begin the project I long anticipated. However, mr. Garza did not show or call to postpone or explain why he had not made it to my home and begin the project. When I did hear from him it was in for of a text expressing how he was sorry but he would be a 100 sure he would be there the next day. This went on for several weeks. Exactly a month with a week from speaking to mr. Garza I told him he obviously has prior commitments to attend to so I wanted him to cancel the project and him reimburse me for the deposit I gave him for the materials. At that time he agreed. However, the same sequence of events occurred I could not get in contact with Jose Garza and when I did he would tell me he would have the money the next day so on and so on. I finally told him that I need my money back he told me the same story. The money he obviously did not invest in the materials for my patio have gone to him. To this day I have not been contacted by him or his company and have not seen a penny of my 1750.
