| Kai Ichikawa | Stay FAR FAR AWAY..... this company provides great written references - but note the dates of the majority of them. The company changed hands - and under the new ownership the workmanship is TERRIBLE. They installed a metal standing seam roof for us - and within 6 months or the first real rain - it started leaking - around the stove pipe and skylight. We asked Pete the owner the look into this - and he has been out to try and repair this at least 3 times. We finally decided to get estimates from other roofers and our contractor about repairing the leaks. They all without hesitation or prompting stated that the roof was incorrectly installed - particularly the insulation around the skylight and stove pipe. Rather than risk any further poor work from Southgate - we are going to bite the bullet and have the roof reinstalled by a competent roofing company. |
