Michael is the owner. He told me if I gave him cash it would save me money. I gave him 12k cash for my roof on a brand new build. I trusted that he knew what and how the roof needed to be installed. It's his profession, right? Wrong, this was a clean slate. Nice clean sheeting easy to install roof. One year later I had water leaking through various areas of a 3500sqft new construction home. I was confused and had them come out and check. After finding out how bad his crew messed up he would not return my calls and had the nerve to ask me to provide the contract he told me was not needed if I paid cash to save money. I had an attorney call him and he hung up after asking again for a contract and again would not answer calls. I had 3 other roofing contractors come out and bid to repair. Each telling me it was installed improperly. Michael still would not call back or stand behind his word. I was left wishing I had not paid him in cash as he requested and got a contract. I have lost faith in the old school methodology that your word is your bond. Michael provided me with one thing. The very hard expensive lesson that not all contractors stand by their word or their work.
