The owner will then cash your check and charge the materials against your house. In the middle of construction they will request more money or the remaining of the payment. The work that they do complete is not always up to code, nor is it done in the fashion of an experienced contractor. They cut corners and try to have the job done prior to you receiving notification that the materials were left unpaid and the building supply company will be placing a lien against your property if Top Notch Exteriors doesn't pay the balance. When you contact the owner to rectify the matter he is very rude and threatening. |

Gave Eric half down and requested my deposit back.Eric informed me my materials had been paid for and special order couldn't be returned,many times. Told me the supplier would be placing a lien on my property. After I tracked down the material at ABC in Oronoco,Mn.it was special order but returned since no payment was received. Both roofing and siding.He has many suits against him and Top Notch Exteriors company name.I'm glad I didn't let him start on my house some people have had material removed and left exposed to the weather. It's really a shame to have to give one star. There should be a negative star. A crook at best.
