I just had windows installed by superior last week. Extremely happy!! Shane White was a our sales rep and did an amazing job with his presentation... he sat with us for 2 hours and was very patient and at the end was the best price. John Wilson came out and did the measuring and scheduled install that day!!! Our new windows were installed in 1 day! I already notice a difference. Highly recommend!

Experience with John Wilson and Superior Products Exteriors. John Wilson is a sales person/ owner of this company. John Wilson is not an installer nor does he know how siding is installed. John comes out on the job and does an estimate based on measurement. Johns prices obviously allow for profit and he then hires a subcontractor. John walks around the job and assures everything will be perfect and says yes to everything asked. Rewind. My mother signed a contract with Jerry the sales manager for this company, but cancelled within the window to cancel due to her not trusting they could fulfill everything they said. Jerry called back multiple times trying to convince us, and I wanted to hope for the best. I convinced mom to give them a chance. I drove my mom and I down to Johns office in Cincinnati from Dayton. understanding Johns Salesman like demeanor I decided to record the whole conversation to have in addition to the written contract. I would frequently ask John a question about the installation and it would seem he had no idea what I was talking about, but say yes. 6 weeks later John called wanting to have the materials delivered. I immediately noticed the J-blocks did not match. I told John and he said those are the only ones made. I decided to investigate and found that to not be true. I further investigated it and they would not even fit the particular Alside Prodigy siding we were using for the home. The J-blocks would not adjust to accommodate the thickness of the siding. I called back and told him this, he called his supplier and again told me they were correct. I got off the phone knowing I was correct. John called and told me the installers were starting on a Friday. They didn't show up. I drove over to meet them. I didn't hear from John that day but a couple days later. On Wednesday the installers arrived, They worked for 4-5 hours and I walked out to view the work. My eyes were immediately drawn to large visible gaps, both aesthetically and functionally installed incorrectly. I brought it to their attention and they wanted to argue and say it was correct. I assured them a 1/4 inch gap was appropriate for expansion. They left the job site as I had asked them to fix the issues before moving forward. I spoke with John and he assured me it would be made correct. The head subcontractor came out and spoke with me, he justified the 7/8 inch gaps and said this is satisfactory for his customers. I explained it was not how its suppose to be installed and I wanted it done right. He said he would fix it. John assured me they would be back around 0900 the next day. I showed up to check in, nobody showed up. I called John, he said they would not be coming after all that day. I had to go away for a long weekend and John decided to wait until Monday to have them get started again after we all have a meeting Monday at 0900. Monday morning I sat waiting as nobody arrived. I called John and as usual he had many excuses. I was driving from 35-40 minutes each time I was stood up. I expressed to John that maybe we start communicating via text or email to have a documented record of communication as he often did not follow through with anything he said. John got angry. John decided then that he did not want to follow through with doing the job. John admitted that the poor workmanship displayed on my mothers house is normally satisfactory for John Wilsons customer and I was the exception. John repeatedly tried to say my exceptions were far too great. I would like to say Johns crew only sided about 10 feet of the house and had left multiple unsightly errors. I will include photographs in the review. please keep in mind this was PREMIUM vinyl siding 1.5 inch styrofoam backed panels. We wanted premier quality work, not giant gaps where you could see styrofoam on the outside of your home. Do yourself a favor, If your looking for attention to detail, and professionalism seek another company. Jerry the sales guy repeatedly said John Wilson is a millionaire, he doesn't even need to work but he does it anyways. hmmmmm

A month ago I had siding put on by superior and couldnt be happier! John Wilson took great care of us... was very detailed when measuring and showing us different options. The install was done within 2 weeks and only took 4 days from start to finish!! By far the best bang for the buck!!
