The Home Depot – Roofing Contractor in Hays, Kansas

I ordered a refrigerator. First tried online but it wouldn't let me change the delivery zip code COVID so I called. The staff were inexperienced and tried 3 times unsuccessfully to put in my order. I had to repeat my information multiple times. Finally a manager got on the phone and the order was placed. April 15. No big deal! I live an hour away and called may 5 to make sure it was delivered to the store before I drove to pick it up. 10am they told me it was scheduled for delivery but they weren't sure if it was delivered on last nights truck or if it will be here on todays truck or the truck after they close! So I called back at 3 and they said it had been rescheduled for May 21. I'm irrate at this point! So fine, I'll wait but if I decide to cancel later, will I get a refund. They said yes but couldn't cancel until it was delivered to the store. Today a deposit was made to my account from Home Depot. I called to see if they went ahead and canceled my order, sure enough but they asked if I wanted to reorder. I asked if it would still be here on the 21st. They told me we're not sure but we can try. I refused. All in all, horrible experience. Horrible customer service. And the staff is unaware of what's going on in the store. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This is a nice hardware/lumber/do it yourself store. They have most things I am looking for and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend shipping here.
