We had an “okay” but rather stressful experience with this company. The first meeting went great and was assured everything would go smoothly - so my husband and I asked for some estimates on additional work that insurance wouldn't cover. We told them that we had the materials and that it would be labor only. We were told that that wouldn't be a problem by the two representatives that were here one was training. The guy training then came out again and did those measurements. Later that week the other lady returned without him and then told us that they wouldn't do it and never told us that they could. I corrected her and she got VERY defensive and then got upset and defensive that we didn't want to upgrade the shingles right away. I was 9 months pregnant and not in the mood to fight so asked her to leave and asked if we could just work solely with the other gentleman. She refused to leave and the rest of her visit was very uncomfortable. Fast forward the work they did was outstanding and very quick - payments afterwards were a headache but manageable. I called and spoke to a supervisor and he was incredibly apologetic about the experience with his rep and assured she'd be talked to. He also treated us to a meal at a Fogo De Chao which was incredibly appreciated. He assured us that we'd have the estimates on the labor only work by the end of that week. I felt much better about the company but then weeks and weeks have gone by 2 months to be exact and still none. Also note that it took weeks and weeks to get receipt of payment after at least 10 separate requests. That's the reason I decided to write this review - hopefully it'll change how some things are done for others going forward. If you're reading reviews to decide a company for your own projects i would recommend this company if the insurance is paying make sure to ask to not work with Crystal but could not recommend for personal work.
