Harbor Roofing and Siding – Roofing Contractor in Wilmington, North Carolina

Please read this before using this company. We contacted harbor roofing after hurricane Florence. We went on a several month waiting list. We waited four months and called. They had lost our name. Remember our home was leaking this entire time. Believe me we tried to find someone else . Everyone was busy. So didn't hold that against them and we waited again. Well, they didn't show 3 times over the course of 4 weeks. Then they finally came months later and supposedly repaired a leak to my home. 3 months after the work was done , my home started to leak in the same place as before. The first guy they sent said he saw the problem and sent me pictures. They said, he did not have the right stuff with him to fix it and someone would come back in a few days. Weeks went by and they sent another guy . He got mad when I asked questions about a water test he wanted to do on my leaking home and stormed out of my house. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. Then the project manager and another employee came to my house a week after that. They looked around and the manager said we will take care of this for you-dont worry! The third guy they sent to do the work supposedly- didn't do anything. Little do they know we have a ring doorbell camera. They said he went and looked and it's a window not the siding . This man walked around my front yard talking to someone . He went in the backyard for 7 minutes -no ladder , no tools. My house is a 2 story home. They can't tell what's going on on a second story without a ladder. I had just found out I have lung nodules and they just put me on a heart monitor. My child is also disabled. All of which harbor roofing knows . The day the county courts announced they were shutting down for the pandemic they called and informed me they weren't going to fix my home . 3 months after I paid them to fix my home, it leaks again and they tell me it's a window . Well we just got done having it fixed and sure enough it was faulty work. They didn't line the entire top half of the outer wall of our home . They used roofing tape that looks like shingles all around our windows not flashing tape . We have pictures of all of this. The new siding guy we hired was shocked at the horrible job that was done. It took the new company 6 hours to fix my home!!! We have contacted a attorney regarding this because I can't believe someone would do this to a family at a time like this. We have been scared to fix the inside of our home again because my daughter is immune compromised and the pandemic. Do not use this company. You will regret it!

Last week I had the roof on my house replaced by Harbor Roofing. I can't say enough good things about the job they did on the roof replacement. From start to finish Sam was incredibly personable, professional and followed through on exactly what we discussed. I stressed I wanted my yard to be completely untouched, like they never even showed up. When the job was completed I couldn't even find a single nail left behind!
